Uses :
Vicks action 500 tablet is used to relieve symptoms of the common cold such as a blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, congestion or stuffness, high temperature (fever), and headache. It reduces congestion and helps in easy breathing. Common cold is a viral infection that affects the nose and throat.

 
Composition of medicines :

• Paracetamol,
• Diphenhydramine HCL,
• Phenylephrine HCL and 
• Caffeine

Paracetamol :
Paracetamol tablet is a very common medicine and often prescribed alone or with one two medicine to relieve symptoms of high temperature (fever), nerve pain, and during periods, back pain, tooth pain, sore throat, muscles aches, strains and sprains, common colds, migraine, long - term mild to moderate pain, inflammation due to arthritis.

 
Diphenhydramine HCL :
Diphenhydramine HCL tablet which is available as an over - the counter medication, is a first - generation antihistamine that is used in a variety of conditions to treat and prevent dystonias, insomnia, pruritis, urticaria, vertigo and motion sickness.

Phenylephrine Hydrochloride :
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride tablet is used to relieve nasal discomfort caused by colds, allergies, and hay fever. It is also used to relieve sinus congestion and pressure. Phenylephrine hydrochloride will relieve symptoms but will not treat the cause of the symptoms or speed recovery.

Caffeine :
Caffeine tablet are used as an alertness aid to help you keep awake when you experience drowsiness or unusual tiredness or weakness.
