Cortel A tablet 15's belongs to the class of anti - hypertensive drugs, primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Hypertension is a medical condition in which blood pressure is elevated persistently in the arteries. It is considered an essential risk factor for cardiovascular diseases.

Composition of medicines :

• Telmisartan and
• Amlodipine

Telmisartan :
Telmisartan is used alone or in combination with other medication to treat high blood pressure. Telmisartan is also used to decrease the chance of heart attack, stroke, or death in people 55 years of age or older who are at high risk for cardiovascular disease.

Amlodipine :
Amlodipine tablet is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure in adults and children 6 years and older. It is also used to treat certain type of angina (chest pain) and coronary artery disease (narrowing of the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart).
