It is used to reduce a high temperature (fever), relieve mild to moderate pain & swelling (inflammation) from various condition such as headache, dental pain, menstrual cramps, and muscles aches, some brands of this medication may also reduce pain, swelling and joint stiffness from arthritis. Reducing these symptoms helps you do more of your normal daily activities. It is known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body's production of certain natural substance that cause inflammation.
