Uses of Zocon T Kit tablet (Combikit of fluconazole & Tinidazole)

Uses :
The medication is a combination medicines containing a triazole antifungal and an anthelmintic. It treats fungal infections like yeast infection in the vagina including vaginal infection, vaginal candidates and vaginal trichomoniasis. The drug works by decreasing the production of ergosterol. It also inhibits cell membrane formation in fungi.

The kit contains one tablet of fluconazole and 2 tablet of tinidazole. Both fluconazole and tinidazole are available as a tablet for oral use. It is usually prescribed for use once in a day, taken with or without food. The duration and dosage of use varies with the health condition of the patient and the response to the drug.

Use of medication must be done with caution in patients suffering from cancer, AIDs, torsades de pointes or liver damage. You should not take the medicine if you are allergic to the ingredients in the medicine.

Composition of medicines :

• Tinidazole and
• Fluconazole

Tinidazole :

Tinidazole tablet is used to treat infections caused by protozoa (eg. trichomoniasis, giardiasis and amebiasis). It is also used to treat adult women with vaginal infections (bacterial vaginosis).

Fluconazole :

Fluconazole tablet is used to treat serious fungal or yeast infections, including vaginal condidiasis, oropharyngeal condidiasis (thrush, oral thrush), esophageal condidiasis (Candida esophagitis), other candida infection (including urinary tract infections, peritonitis {inflammation of lining of the stomach}).
