Uses :
Glycomet GP 2 Forte tablet SR is a combination medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. This medicine is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It help in proper utilisation of insulin, thereby lowering the blood sugar levels.

Composition of medicines :

• Metformin Hydrochloride Sustained Release and
• Glimepiride

Metformin Hydrochloride Sustained Release :
Metformin Hydrochloride Sustained Release tablet is used with a proper diet and exercise program and possibly with other medications to control high blood sugar. It is used in patients with type 2 diabetes. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, loss of limbs, and sexual function problems. 

Glimepiride :
Glimepiride tablet is used to lower blood sugar by causing the pancreas to produce insulin (a natural substance that is needed to break down sugar in the body) and helping the body use insulin efficiently. This medications will only help lower blood sugar in people whose bodies produce insulin naturally.
