Composition of :
Each film coated tablet contains :
1250 mg Calcium Carbonate from an Organic Source (Powdered Oyster Shell) 
equivalent to
Elemental Calcium ............. 500 mg
Vitamin D3 IP ....................... 250 IU

Colour :
Brilliant Blue FCF and Titanium Dioxide IP

Dosage :
For oral use. Start with 1 tablet twice daily with food or do as directed by physician.
Store in a cool, dry place.

Uses :
Shelcal 500 tablet is used to build and maintain strong bones, heart, muscles and nerves also need calcium to function properly. It is also used to support the immune system. Some studies suggest that calcium, along with vitamin D, may have benefits beyond bone health: perhaps protecting against cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure.
