Uses :

Uthral - 500 tablet is used to treat certain bacterial infection, such as bronchitis; pneumonia, sexually Transmitted Disease (STD); and infection of the ear, lungs, sinuses, skin, urinary tract, cervix, genitals, throat and reproductive organ.

This medicines is in a class of drugs called macrolide antibiotics. 

It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
