Uses :
It is used to treat high blood pressure. It is also used to decrease the chance of heart attack, stroke, or death in people 55 years of age or older who are at high risk for cardiovascular disease.
It decrease blood pressure safely and effectively without excessive blood pressure reducing or tachycardia. Cilnidipine acts on the L-type calcium channels of blood vessels by blocking the incoming calcium and suppressing the contraction of blood vessels, thereby blood pressure.
